Resources for Recovering Resilience: Creativity in Psychotherapy – It’s Possible, Even Essential

Everyone:  Please check out and take to heart today’s earlier post on “What Exactly is Creativity?” from the Greater Good Science Center.

Fellow clinicians:  In February 2016 I’ll be exploring how to bring more creativity – openness to experience, imaginative play, daydreaming, mindfulness, intuition, etc. – into psychotherapy in a wonderful free webinar “Creativity Fest.”  I’ll be exploring with other clinicians how we can support our client’s healing and growth through thinking differently, sensitivity, passion, solitude, and, of course my favorite, turning adversity to advantage, etc.

Here’s the link to register for the free preview Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11am-noon PST, 1pm-2pm EST. The preview, hosted by my colleagues Lisa Mitchell and Courtney Armstrong, begins to explore experientially how we can get out of the box of protocols and expectations and recover some of the fun – and profound reward – of helping people recover a sense of their own worth and authenticity.
